Many of the Northern Shan Tea Plantations and small scale farmers are impacted by activity along the borders – whether conflict driven or economically driven. It is our hope to make a difference through social impact investing in these areas, to help create livelihoods for the economically and geographically disadvantaged. The Palaung Women’s Organisation keeps records of trafficked people’s in the areas where some of the finest tea heritage is. These are areas that need both attention and investment as a matter of priority.
